The Coppermine River in Canada’s Nunavut territory was our third rafting trip, all of which were with the Nahanni River Adventures company also known as Canadian River Expeditions. This trip was different from the other two in that almost all of the other clients on the trip were new to us. They were a diverse and very interesting group of people. In our two previous rafting trips, Alsek River in 2025 and South Nahanni River in 2024, almost all of the clients were friends of ours.
This was a fun and worthwhile trip despite the less than optimal weather we had. We had cool wet conditions for several days or parts of days. We were particularly pleased with the guiding company and the four guides. They were excellent. The company and the seven other guides from the previous two trips were also excellent.
